I cant believe there would be that much of a decision. If you ask people who would you rather have as your coach Ratten or Clarko it would be a no brainer. i have nothing against Ratten but come on if we could get Clarko we would be insane not to try.

Its not insane at all. Look how Pagan & Malthouse did at Carlton. Great lists make great coaches, not the other. Ratten is on around 600k and Clarkson would want over a million per year. I would much rather spend that soft cap on other things like recruitment and player development.

For me, this is the match committee overestimating the squad, and underestimating the Bombers.

Many clubs have made the same mistake over the years, however I think our club has a copyright on the template and keeps doing this, regardless of who is in the box.

All clubs are susceptible to a thrashing every now and then .... including top 4 teams ...... its a loooooong season
