Yes, Guerra used to Lind people up… but that was footy back then.
I don't remember Bakers hit on Johnson, so I will have to take your word for it but I remember cowardly hits from Guerra, which are indelibly etched in my memory as they were so bad and unsportsmanlike.

That was footy… he picked people off, but it was generally in play and fair bumps… albeit unexpected hits and maybe a bit late sometimes

Bakers hit was basically a coward punch!

Brent's oldman is a personal friend of mine & he has told me it was a team orientated play not something Brent did of his own bat.

I don't think Guerra was a thug. Loved a good hip-and-shoulder, which was allowed back then, but I don't remember any behind the play incidents? Did he miss any games?

Baker was a thug, but our thug. If he played for any other team 100% of people on here would have hated him.

We all make typos but surely you meant Ling people up.

Good player Kosi ... shame about the injuries though

Just having a quick look re: Players having hot streaks over a 1 month/4 game period .... Plugger (with the Saints only) kicking 4 or more goals

1985 - 7, 6, 7, 6 (R10 to 13)
1987 - 5, 8, 9, 8, 8 (R15 to 19)
1988 - 7, 7, 9.7 (R8 to 10 - not quite a month)
1989 - 9, 10, 8, 5, 5, 6, 6, 9, 12 (R1 to 9)
1990 - 10, 9 (R1 & 2) and then 7, 7, 5, 7, 5 (R4 to 8)
1991 - 12, 10, 12, 4, 7, 5, 8, 5, 8, 5 (R7 to 16) & 13, 16, 11, 9 (R21 to EF)
1992 - 12, 15, 7, 9 (R10 then no games 11 & 12 then R13 to 15) & 6, 7, 6, 6, 5 (R17 to 21)
1993 - 5, 11, 5, 8 (R10 to 13)
1994 - 6, 5, 9, 8 (R20 to 23)

There were a few other times where had 4 game runs (3 goals or more) - ie: 1987 - 5, 3, 12, 5 (R2 to 5)

Quick look for Sydney he had around 5 (4 game or more) streaks of 4 or more goals

Doubt we will ever see a freak like him again!
