Re: Peter Ladhams?
Tell your mate Budgie to cut the crap, he is the one who is almost single handedly stuffing this forum. He provokes and provokes and provokes and when he is called out squeals like a little pig, runs to the mods and then you try to defend him.
Rugby League would have to be the stupidest, most moronic and over rated game of all time.

Ps. He is no my mate but I don't have a problem with him.
Defend him? Just where and when the f*** did I do that?
I think he is big enough to defend himself.
I am just sick of you constant sniping at him.
Becomes tiresome and f****** boring for the rest us to read.

Re: Peter Ladhams?
Actually I decided to take a stand at his constant sniping and snide remarks he makes to anyone who disagrees with him. Maybe I should forward you the disgusting pm’s he sent to me a while back. Might change your mind about him then.saynta wrote: ↑Sat 25 Sep 2021 11:30pmAnd here's me thnking you are the trouble. Yep, that might but would also get you a ban. Forwarding someone elses pm's to discredit them is a definite no no.happy feet wrote: ↑Sat 25 Sep 2021 11:33pmActually I decided to take a stand at his constant sniping and snide remarks he makes to anyone who disagrees with him. I don't have a problem with either of you.
I do have problems with a couple of posters though. I just ignore both of them and never respond to their posts or acknowledge them in any way. I suggest you consider something similar.

Re: Peter Ladhams?
Have to disagree he got toweled up by Stanley of all Ruckmen in the square at Geelong. Around the ground 100% had a great year in 2019 and that is his strength but his centre bounce work still needs a lot of work and he need support especially against the physical rucks out there such as Nank who bash and crash.B.M wrote: ↑Sat 25 Sep 2021 1:37pm Rowan Marshall was RU best and fairest and had a break out year in 2019 as the solo ruckman. With some minor chop out from Josh Bruce.
This year he played his best game as the solo ruckman
I think he thrives in that position
Rowan is nowhere near as good a forward as he is a ruckman
We need to be careful for all those who dream of Ben King we dont miss out on everything else also. My thoughts Clarskson to coach GC 2023 and with the young talent they have there and potentially the best coach in last 20 year very hard to leave . IF that happens we get nothing and risk missing out on other stuff.

Re: Peter Ladhams?
Stanley can have good games (and poor ones) he’s hot and cold. He is a freak athlete, and if he is in touch he’s very good in the centre square. Stanley has beaten both Max Gawn and Nic Nat during his career and also played some shockers.
Marshall was one of the dominant ruckman in the comp in 2019.
I would be pretty happy for him to be the number 1 ruckman
As a forward he is just average IMO

Re: Peter Ladhams?
I remember the saints coaches stating that Stanley was the best "athlete", the club had ever had on their list.
I also remember him easily winning the 100 metre sprint at half time in the grannie.
Never seen him display that speed whole actually playing though.

An athlete playing footy Stanley
Brendon Goddard named him as the best Athlete he played with, and he played for 18 years.

Re: Peter Ladhams?
Just felt, as big and strong and fast Stanley was, he wasn’t the hardest footballer on the list!!!

Re: Peter Ladhams?
Budgie??
Is that’s supposed to be funny, or are you trying to belittle me with name calling?!
Bit childish don’t you think??
Just checked my PMs because I hardly remember ever sending a PM - a long time ago I had some conversations with BFUSA
Maybe I did? But it shows zero sent messages
I definitely don’t remember sending any to you, I don’t think I would bother??
Anyway, no one else would care

Re: Peter Ladhams?
I think that was the knock on him, Also lack of effort and failure to utilise god given talents.
