2021 Trade and Draft

Well now that the season has come to an end we're coming up to the TRADE and DRAFT period.
I'm not sure who we're going to get via Trade and Drafting but I can guarantee this :-

Whoever we Trade/Draft will be the wrong person.
There always someone better we should have taken.
Or we paid much too much to get whoever it is we get.

There I've said it first.

So when we look back in future I can post that I was correct - we got it wrong again.

Actually with greatest respect to you I think you are wrong.

It certainly was the case in the not too distant past but we've been getting it more right than wrong.

For example Wilkiie, Sharman, Highmore, Connelly. And there have been others.

It's made me confident we will definitely get a good'un at pick 9.

But we rarely hear about those 'wins'
whilst we have countless threads about how sh!!!!!t we are.
Me, I'm a half glass full type of guy and I tend to look at the things we are doing good/well rather than harping on the things we do wrong (no matter how far back in time they are).

Even Elshaugh - a thread to '' lock him up' - seriously.
He made a choice - proven to be wrong but he just made a choice
He didn't assault anybody
He didn't rob a bank.
People make mistakes - it's life and nobody's perfect.
In the end the responsibility lies with whoever employed him in that role.

I think we have smarter people in charge now, given what we've added since Elshaug's departure

That's more than half a team in three draft/trade periods. I'm backing our guys to get it right
