Chad Cornes is the runner at Port, it would be like getting a message from Daffy Duck.shanegrambeau wrote: ↑Fri 17 Sep 2021 6:39pm Just curious.
How many fringe players have blossomed and succeeded in helping the Gold Coast in the meteoric rise up the ladder?
I don't mean superstars like Gazz junior, I mean the 23-26 year olds who play, say half a dozen games a year in a top or middle level team, then switch.
And then we have the old crusties who are good for a season or two..a Chad Cornes or a Setvie J at GWS.
Another one to cross off

"Quinton Narkle will stay at the Cats given there are no suitors, while Charlie Constable is keen to get more chances but can’t find another home either."
So says the hun.

I wouldn't mind Charlie Constable I know we don't have a lot of picks but could we give them Lonie although Lonie might be a bit out of there age bracket he is under 29

Re: Another one to cross off
Not sure about Constable, he can't get a game at the ageing Cats, and, if no one else is interested then he might be overrated.
Could still offer them Lonie though, might make them think the team is getting younger.

Not sure. But 30 or 40 odd first rounders haven't done much either.shanegrambeau wrote: ↑Fri 17 Sep 2021 6:39pm Just curious.

I tend to agree with BM on this one…
Seems like exactly the type of players that would benefit the balance of our list. Constable doesn’t seem that good but Narkle looks a goer
You’d think for sure we’d be making enquires there
Feel like he’d almost walk straight into our best 22

Ladhams from Port may be looking at other options....would be great support in the ruck, he goes alright
