He’s an exciting talent.
If Sharman comes on, the forward line looks pretty good.
King, Membrey, Sharman, Marshall/Ryder … that should be plenty of height and marking targets.

You can say that again.
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

I've got a good idea, lets make sure we've got somebody to deliver the ball to this great forwardline.

No kidding? We have Higgins, Butler, Gresham among others. With everyone available it looks a pretty useful forward line

With everyone available
Most teams have good forward lines
Gresham will play through the middle of the ground.

Re: 2021. To the Max.
There will be times that he rests forward. And we have other midfielders who like a goal who can play a similar role.
Back to the OP, King is a gun and is going to be something very special, but we must have alternatives to bombing it long to him as our means of scoring.
I see the emergence of Sharman, if he can come on, as very important. It means our opponent has to watch two or three dangerous marking targets rather than usually just one or two.

Don’t forget Butts
I expect Dan Butler to be in the All Australian squad again next year
He’s got a contract expiring so I reckon he’ll have a super year again in 2022

Naughton is currently better - see tonight - but Max has everything to go past him. Exciting times coming.

Re: 2021. To the Max.
Max will sail way past him.
Naughton has already filled out quite a lot and put on a lot of muscle which makes me wonder how much more physical development he has left.
Max on the other hand still has a ton of filling out to do.
