I actually think Steely should win it but it won't surprise me if Sincs pinches it.

Lol
Steele will lap the rest.
Where will the likes of Billings, Dunstan and Hill finish? If Hill is not in the top 10 it will be another major embarrassment for him and the club.

I think you are right but Sincs would have been making Ratts and the assistant coaches and selectors very happy by being able to not only take on his new role, but really excelling in it which usually also makes the coaches happy if it's helping their game plan. Sincs may have attracted more votes on that basis than was otherwise apparent while we were being mesmerised by Steely's season.

Re: Trevor Barker Award September 17
This all depends - at one stage votes were given for doing your role. So a Zero possession game by a backman would get votes if his opponent got zero as well. You did not have to be flashy to win the TBA as opposed to the Charlie - but I am not sure the voting criteria now.Vortex wrote: βWed 08 Sep 2021 12:53pmI think you are right but Sincs would have been making Ratts and the assistant coaches and selectors very happy by being able to not only take on his new role, but really excelling in it which usually also makes the coaches happy if it's helping their game plan. Not saying Steele won't win it in a canter - but some of the lesser lights may poll VERY well.
