Jack Steele 3rd in last years Brownlow, high up in this years coaches votes, a good chance for top 3 in this years Brownlow; yeah I reckon he deserves to start in the middle.

Priority should be given to the best players.
We played finals last year and he was still on the bench.

End of the day, it doesn't matter. It's just 22 players that are All Australian that year.
Until some idiot during the commentary last week said that "Jack Steele made the bench for the All Australian team last year"
