Re: Max Gawn
Geelong are the modern day chokers. They were that arrogant after half time they thought they could just possess the ball and not attempt to score. Serves them right and congrats to Melbourne.

A remarkable player. Like RoMa and Paddy - very fair and highly skilled. Good luck to him.

Re: Max Gawn
Melb would not make top 4 without him. Deserves the Brownlow. Or at least runner up to Steely.

Hurts every time I watch Petracca....who had ultimate responsibility for McCartin first?

Re: Max Gawn
Just noticed he marked over a weak effort by Garry Rohan. Rohan scurries away from the mark head down. Typical of the guy.
At the same time I acknowledge at this time of year I find myself taking schadenfreude in regard to other teams players failing, when I don't even know them. But there you go. 2022 come on down.

Two good last minute outcomes yesterday. Melb beating Geelong and WCE missing the finals. Glad Brissie got up to fourth as well.

Re: Max Gawn
I can’t believe the lucky run they have had with injuries compared to teams like Saints and GWS.
They haven’t lost a game from there prime movers like Gawn, Oliver and Petracca.

Re: Max Gawn
Selwood is the most punchable. Has pretty much played finals every year of his career and behaves like an entitled little twat. Stages, snipes and whinges like a little b**** when things don't go his way.bangaulegend wrote: ↑Sun 22 Aug 2021 12:12pmCan't stand their fan's ,their arrogance, their players pretty much can't stand Geelong in general I hope they go out in straight sets too

Re: Max Gawn
A couple of things I noticed.
Danger and Selwood were on the bench for a long time and late in the last quarter considering the circumstances…pretty big screw by the Geelong bench
Rhys had a massive brain fade not going with Max. He’d played well, but that will haunt him.
Geelong may have just dropped the premiership cup. Allowing Melbourne to have a come from nowhere win at the Cattery is massive. They’ve handed them the belief that they can get the job done anywhere, anytime, from a long way back. You can’t buy that sort of confidence.

No guarantees that Petracca would not have stagnated and now be playing for Essendon or ..... if he came to St Kildast.byron wrote: ↑Sun 22 Aug 2021 12:04pmDitto. Elshaug I believe. Re: Max Gawn
Also now Geelong travel to Adelaide instead of Brissy at the Cattery - then who knows the week after they lose to PA - maybe .... 5 points from Minor Premiers to Out In StraightsLeo.J wrote: ↑Sun 22 Aug 2021 12:30pm A couple of things I noticed.
