Jamie Cripps
Just copped an elbow to the face in the Freo game....Reiwoldt commentating struggled to hide his pleasure.

Re: Jamie Cripps
Shame for him he has to stay in WA because Eagles will put him up for trade and Freo have far better versions. Swan Districts looking likely.

Re: Jamie Cripps
He was off like a bride’s nightie as soon as he got the chance. Not a favourite and clearly a shocking draft pick. Then prejudiced the draft and pissed off home.

Re: Jamie Cripps
Plays well when the eagles are on top. Has been the beneficiary of playing in a very good team, at the feet of Kennedy and Darling (who unbelievably was available at his pick!)
A forward runner, and a bit of a seagull.
Good kick though and makes the most of his opportunities

Re: Jamie Cripps
We actually took him at 24 and after a couple of years development to that into pick 43 what an investment!!!

Re: Jamie Cripps
Handy player but a first round pick from W.A there was always a risk of the go home factor. So when he decided he didn't want to stay we folded like wet cardboard & accepted pick 40 odd for a first round pick . Typical St.Kilda mentality

Re: Jamie Cripps
We also turned Tom Lynch (pick 13) into pick 37 after 3 years of development (or lack there of!)

Re: Jamie Cripps
We also are about to turn
Pick 18 Dunstan into a end of third rounder after 8 years
Pick 3 Billings into a second round pick
And Probably Ross (Pick 25) into a third rounder
We CERTAINLY know our investments and how to deal!!!!

Re: Jamie Cripps
Tom Lynch. The red haired version. Adelaide has given him the chop.

Re: Jamie Crupps
In a replay of the incident he was wearing a mouthguard btw, as well as clearly showing him taking it out when running offperfectionist wrote: ↑Sun 15 Aug 2021 7:52pmNot wearing a mouth guard - either was Cripps.Banger9798 wrote: ↑Sun 15 Aug 2021 7:49pm Just copped an elbow to the face in the Freo game....Reiwoldt commentating struggled to hide his pleasure.

Got Darryl Wakelin for free. Traded him for pick 4.
Got Tommy Walsh for free. Traded him for pick 35.

You can blame the tosser flosser Lyin for losing both Cripps and Lynch. Wouldn't play them.

Re: Jamie Cripps
Ooohhh that’s harsh, but true!
You can’t hide one of your highest paid players in the back pocket, just so he can get a few kicks to increase his confidence.
We recruited the guy for his elite running and kicking. I’ve seen him do a lot of running but unfortunately it’s mainly been in the back half. With Clark, Sincs and possibly Paton and (hopefully Coffield regaining his 2020 form) we don’t need Hill in the backline.
We need our best kicks to deliver inside 50. That was the pitch from the Saints recruiters and that’s what they told members so they could justify Hill’s salary and what we gave up. Hopefully for our sake Ratts and his assistants realise he has to go back to the wing if we are serious about being a finals contender.
