Josh Kelly has just signed his contract to stay at the Giants for the next 8 years.
That puts that old rumour to bed.
No one else wanted to stump up more than $8million over 8 years for a good midfielder.

I’ve never felt that Kelly has really lived up to the immense hype that he’s generated over the years.
Can’t say that I’m too disappointed

Not so sure about sacrificing coin.
All the speculation was that he had a trigger for 8 years & $8mil.
That’s well above market rate for a good (not generational) midfielder, in both coin and length.
Sure. I would sign up a Judd or Dusty type for that (depending on age) but not Jelly.

HIf you added up the supposed salaries of the giants top ten they would be maxed out!!!
