Just saw out with Hammy .
Probably been carrying something else for the past 6 weeks which has clearly affected play at times. proper recover needed and determine , if not done already whether he stays or goes.

Re: Billings out
Jack, Luke and Seb are, in my opinion, all good AFL footballers sometimes with serious flaws, playing for a side on worst trajectory in the league (although Suns more disappointing, but what a benchmark). Limited currency one would think.
Strengths: Luke - brave, tough, great competitor, great hands in the scrimmage, terrific vision. Weakness: disposal. Might suit Suns, possibly GWS who has great outside skilled players, but unlikely. maybe Suns would be interested, can't think of another club as ball retention is a priority for the other 16 clubs (whereas ours is just getting it). Not improving, at least with us.
Jack; Strengths: good field kick, reliable mark, nice snap for goal, offers good options with his running to space, good hands, still dining out a bit on being a low draft pick but shine wearing off. Weaknesses: hardness in the contests when heat really on, set shots, appears to choke in big moments too often. Not improving, at least with us. Recent durability question marks. Possible Clarko could have used him in a Hawks team but doubt Mitchell would rate him. Only once, from memory, has he turned a game for us with consistent effort, but that might be unfair.
Seb; Strengths: great experience so knows how to get ball, tough, can run all day, can pick good options more often than not. Good kick for goal; Weaknesses: almost a good mid, almost a good forward, almost a good tagger but not quite any, can butcher the ball in big moments, when tagging can just lose his man at critical times. Rarely does the inspirational when game on line, which is unfortunate for a sometime captain and veteran. Not improving.
Given the lack of fit depth on the list there is probably a leaning to keep them all, but I think the negotiations would be tepid. Only have to see how other clubs can find really good young talent to see the downside of all or one or two those guys leaving isn't so much. Note position on ladder and ball retention stats. Not like those guys are holding the place together. They are probably sick of playing in a losing team for so long as well.
If Jack really wants to stay, and I wonder about his options, he will. If he is uncommitted to the club after all these years as in only the coin counts then perhaps best for both parties he tries greener fields and then we might then see the best of him, whatever that is.

Re: Billings out
I think we should keep one but not both. If we can get something decent for Seb or Like, I think we should take it. I think I prefer Seb but it really is a coin toss.

Re: Billings out
Based on list make up, I think it makes sense to keep one of Dunstan or Ross.
Dunstan is playing better and has more longevity to him so I’d keep him

Re: Billings out
Yep.
And we may be able to fool some unsuspecting team by throwing in the "dual B&F winner" tag with Seb!

Re: Billings out
Let’s get rid of Ross, Billings and Dunstan. Who walk as Free agents.
Get a couple of second rounders and a third rounder.
And begin ANOTHER rebuild.

Re: Billings out
We can offload one of Dunstan or Ross but to suggest that one is so much better than the other by a long margin is stupid.

Re: Billings out
I think Billings and Dunstan have already agreed to go to other clubs, the rumblings suggest Dunnings to the Crows and there are no rumblings about which club Billings has chosen other than he is gone.

If Seb were for sale on Gumtree, the post would get taken down after a week after '25 viewed this ad' but NOBODY even responded

So the post wouldn't even generate any interest from scammers?WellardSaint wrote: ↑Fri 06 Aug 2021 4:04pmIf Seb were for sale on Gumtree, the post would get taken down after a week after '25 viewed this ad' but NOBODY even responded
It's called scumtree for a reason.
