Changes next week
Coffield for Clark (injured).
Clavarino for Howard (injured).
Bytel for Byrnes (Crouch lucky to stay in, but Byrnes was worse).
McKenzie for Kent.
Joyce for Highmore (he wasn't right to play either, just like Clark).
We need to play younger playets, including those that we need to make calls on on the off season.

Re: Changes next week
And a second lead up forward - Max is brilliant - but every tall forward needs a foil or they become swamped.
After 1/4 time Max should have become the decoy for another 1/4 and then have them guessing (but in reality - it was us guessing where the i50 entries would rebound out of)

Re: Changes next week
The cupboard is almost bare. Clark and Howard are obvious outs. Looks like Hill might have a calf issue. If I had my way, Long and Kent would be replaced, too.
There's no guarantee that Ryder and McKenzie will be right to play, either.
Clavarino for Howard
Sharman comes into the main line-up (replaces Clark)
Wood for Kent
Lonie for Long
McKernan (if fit) for Hunter

Re: Changes next week
Out of all of the previous posts in this thread, yours is the one I agree with most.
Sensible ins.
We need Ryder in as we need a ruckman who can actually win contested ball around the ground, not just hit outs.
Coffield should never have been dropped after only one week.
Bytel is best 22 - be honest we have a few mids who have played nearly every game this season and have had almost zero impact.
Sharman showed a bit, deserves more than just one game based on form.
Hannebery - on massive coin and has only played half a reserves game, but you know what; he is one that the opposition really have to worry about and he will help Crouch who is copping a hard tag every week.
Frawley to play on Franklin.
Great post SB.

Re: Changes next week
The selection committee need to watch a replay of the match very very carefully. Dissect it
Lookout for signs of laziness in disposal or haphazard efforts to chase. Rest the player before he has a chance to tell you his 'feeling' guage is at "I'm good to go for another match payment please"

Re: Changes next week
If Hill not out calved then play him forward so the backs have to kick long to him or short to someone else.
Play Marshall CHF because our mids cannot deal with winning rucks.
Bytel in. May be a mirage but seems a better investment at the moment than others. Mids have been at best workman like and get overwhelmed by any opposition players with class so ask them to be careful about that.
Claverino has to come it and I wish we had a hard man like say Hurn in defence to give him support.
Have Geary eyeball each player as they go out.
Result? no only kidding, 4 losses in a row looming large. Keep tinkering and having honesty sessions, that seems to have worked a treat.

Re: Changes next week
I wanted Bytel to work but he just seems to have stagnated granted give him the rest of the season but Byrnes has flown past him let’s hope he lifts!

Re: Changes next week
Bytel is fighting for a spot with Ross, Crouch, and Dunstan. If Frawley is fit he has to play. Hannebery is too much of a risk.
