85 games
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

Gawn says, welcome son, go well.
Oliver says give me the ball you little prick.
Christian does not deign to acknowledge him.
Lever says, go over and cover my man.
Lad should have opted for Saints but we have some slick smaller players already.

Typical St Kilda. Any other club and their dads would have played 100 games and these guys would have been at the Saints.

Wasn’t the criteria 50 games back when both Bowery and Jeffreys played for us?magnifisaint wrote: ↑Sun 01 Aug 2021 4:29pm Typical St Kilda. Any other club and their dads would have played 100 games and these guys would have been at the Saints.
I think it changed to 100 games later?

Re: Brett Bowey
In fairness Brett Bowey wouldn't have played 60 games at a lot of other clubs during that time . Hard working honest footballer predicting the ability of a players sperm is a tad difficult.magnifisaint wrote: ↑Sun 01 Aug 2021 4:29pm Typical St Kilda. Re: Brett Bowey
There must have been something filthy in the water at Moorabbin from 1970 to 2000 . We must be the only club to never have a quality player via the father-son rule. The only decent son of a former player was David Sierakowski, who played 100 games for us, but he wasn't picked up using a father-son pick. Our champions from the 90s have given us nothing. Lockett, all daughters, Burke all daughters, Winmar nothing, Loewe nothing.

Re: Brett Bowey
Wikipedia says he played 19 games in each of 88 n 89. Then only 4 games in 90.
Got 27 disp in a final vs Pies (91?)
Don't know why he retired from VFL but went to Frankston for a bit, then Chelsea from 99 to whenever.
Capt Coach, etc

A real Sainter will pledge allegiance to the ❤ and despise the Pies, the Blues, and the Injectors.
