Can't be less than 2 weeks. If it isn't 2 it's basically cheating.Viscount Jeremiah wrote: ↑Mon 26 Jul 2021 10:35amThey can and will cover it up.

Re: Buddy
Was the Freo player hurt?
That’s really the issue here. Got the free paid against him… don’t know that I see more than a week there without an injury, maybe even a fine

Re: Buddy
It was a Hawkins type accident. Some players have a natural curve in their run taking set shots so its not play on, some are just consistently awkward when it comes to hurting opponents, nothing to see here says Chris Judd. If that fails plead mercy because of Covid arrangements and Sydney doing it tough. Freo guy played on didn't he they will note.

Guarantee at worst a fine, They will use Astbry as an example from earlier in the year, even though they don't use precedents .

He is a koala.
A tut, tut only.
If it had been a previous high profile Swans full forward, when playing for StKilda, it would be season over.

I didn’t watch the matchbangaulegend wrote: ↑Mon 26 Jul 2021 1:51pm IMO Buddy won't get suspended a fine & a slap on the wrist . The Freo dude wasn't seriously hurt & Buddy is a protected species
Did the Freo guy just get up and keep playing.
If so, IMO it’s worth a free kick, maybe a fine

Me thinks so too, although it is pretty blatant…
They wanna get him to 1000!
The narrative…spin…romance …AFL bla bla….
..it is the kind of back-hander (elbower) that doesn’t look good. Maybe we can use it in defense of one our own in future.
They’ll still beat Essendon without him, surely.
You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!

Re: Buddy
The Swans are appealing - based on precedents. But we know the AFL don't consider precedents in their findings so that's a bit of a gamble actually; risking two games. Good to see!
