The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Re: Rd 20 vs Bluescum
Yes unfortunately he did it kicking the last goal of the game.
Apparently Clark will be ok, so a straight swap there.
Higgins also reported to be ok, so would come in for Kent.
Marshall in for Hunter .

Re: Rd 20 vs Bluescum
Apart from Paton n Gresh, this team would possibly be our best line up?

Re: Rd 20 vs Bluescum
Damn shame about Sincs. He gotta be in top five this year.
That’s two players who did their hammies last kick of the game (almost) in Round 19. I think the other was a North or Brissy player.
We have been done by Carlton late season many times in the last few years (SamuraiSaint…stats man, am I right?)
Anyway, each time we were favourites as I assume we are again.
The Blues maybe cooked psychologically after their heroics in the face of the Spanish Inquisition they are undergoing ‘voluntarily’. They kept punching but really fell away last game. Can they rise again? Probably, but for a whole game…with the mighty Marshall back in.
Surely we can get ‘em this time.

Re: Rd 20 vs Bluescum
Sinclair certainly in our best line up. Highmore probably ahead of Coffield also.WellardSaint wrote: ↑Wed 28 Jul 2021 11:37pmApart from Paton n Gresh, this team would possibly be our best line up?

Re: Rd 20 vs Bluescum
So this would be my guess
Out: Sinclair (inj), Hunter, Kent, Clavarino
In: Clark, Marshall, Higgins, Highmore
B: Webster, Howard, Highmore
HB: Hill, Wilkie, Coffield
C: Billings, Steele, Ross
HF: Higgins, Marshall, Long
F: Butler, King, Membrey
Foll: Ryder, Crouch, Jones
Int: Byrnes, Clark, Connolly, Dunstan
Pretty decent team. We should be aiming for a flogging that could potentially revive our percentage enough to pip the Dockers if we end up with the same amount of wins.

Re: Rd 20 vs Bluescum
A lot of uninspiring, unwatchable matches this week. I won't be watching any of those, except the mighty Sainters of course.Wayne42 wrote: ↑Tue 27 Jul 2021 12:40am Here is the latest fixture.

As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”

Re: Rd 20 vs Bluescum
Sinclair is a big out for us. Not sure who can step up to give the run, carry and defensive coverage he has been providing; most of the half back defence while solid don't seem very attacking.
