Best he’s played
Best we’ve kicked it to him
His opponent was pretty average, but I don’t think that had an effect
He had a day out!!!!

The plan is to get 20 more games in him and then just kick it long and high to him.

I think today highlighted that
We need to kick it out in front of him and let him launch at it

Re: What’s the plan with Max King!!??
Max King with 8 contested marks equals the most CM taken in a game by a Saint since the stat started being recorded.
Stat wasn’t taken when Plugger was in the RWB but since then the only other Saints to take 8 in a game were Loewe twice as a 32 year old and Hamill as a 28 year old. G Train managed 7 a couple times as a 28 year old and Roo managed 7 in the ‘09 prelim at almost 27.

Could this be the making of Max, his breakout game? It all finally clicked and he now knows what he’s capable of??

Even if that’s the case... with another 10 years of playing together up forward together, I’m sure they’d figure it out.magnifisaint wrote: ↑Sat 24 Jul 2021 11:50pmThey'll probably get in each other's wayBanger9798 wrote: ↑Sat 24 Jul 2021 11:45pmGet his brotherTeflon wrote: ↑Sat 24 Jul 2021 11:26pm Max King with 8 contested marks equals the most CM taken in a game by a Saint since the stat started being recorded.

Personally, I’d sell the farm for Ben now knowing that together, they’d set up our forward half for 10 years... pbly two sustained cracks at a flag... ala Riewoldt and Kosi (04-06 and 08-10).

They are different sort of players
Ben is more like Ben Brown, likes to hit up with leads
Max is a contested marker

I think the plan is he kick goals instead of behinds.
The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

You are not going to lose your job to AI.
You are going lose your job to somebody who uses AI.
Your company is not going to go out of business because of AI.
Your company is going to go out of business because another company used AI.

He was still doing it, up until the last half dozen or so steps of his run up.

The question posed by this thread was well and truly put to bed by the man himself. Time to close it.
