Re: Team v Eagles
Hopefully Clav can impress.
Good Luck to Hunter too.
The remaining games have to be about planning for the next 2 to 3 years, give all of the fringe players as big a look as possible and get as low on the ladder as possible to get the highest possible draft pick.

I cant believe that spud Hunter gets another game - watch Allen/Natinui own him. Crikey our unavailable list has hurt us this year!

I don't think the selectors have any choice, literally no other options. I think from here it's a heavily compromised comp due to COVID.Impatient Sainter wrote: ↑Thu 22 Jul 2021 8:24pm I cant believe that spud Hunter gets another game - watch Allen/Natinui own him. Re: Team v Eagles
And Clavarino (who still has a slight chance of making it?)
But as it stands is very green
What’s going on with Bytel?
Not even an emergency?!

Bytal should be playing although you can see that Dunstans form has probably pushed him out.

Yes he is.
With Sharman and Allison there I can only assume there’s nobody else except Alabakis.

Hunter will go the way of Abbott last yr.
Delist- his papers are in the 'out' tray at the club.
A real Sainter will pledge allegiance to the ❤ and despise the Pies, the Blues, and the Injectors.

Re: Team v Eagles
I know Norf beat WCE, but it was in the wet.
I live in Perth and Accuweather App says 2pm-6pm on Sat will be 17° with 0 chance of rain.
When you factor in the crowd noise prompting the umps, you get a free kick tally of 13 to 27, with at least 5 dodgy frees in front of goal for the Nose Candy Clowns.
Watch Kennedy push Howard in the back 6-7 times and take a 'legal' mark.
It's happened not just to us, either.

Re: Team v Eagles
I really think we should plan to lose the ruck and then we could play Bytel instead of Hunter for extra grunt and run.
Clavarino could pinch hit in the ruck when Paddy needs a spell

I "have been told"* that the umps will give them ten frees each.

Bookies have us less than $3. What do they know? Have Kennedy and Nic Nat suddenly eloped.

Clavarino and Hunter playing for their careers.

Re: Team v Eagles
No need for the insulting vitriol against Hunter. We all know he's not quite AFL standard, but would you rather let Paddy Ryder ruck all game and work himself into the ground? He's already banged up. Hunter will give his best and attack each contest with vigour. That's all we can ask of him.

Re: Team v Eagles
This is the first time that Hunter has played with either Marshall or Ryder. Hopefully he’s a bit more effective as a second ruck and spending a bit of time up front and quite a bit on the bench.

Who else did they have to name as a replacement for Marshall? Lonie?

And at the other end, King constantly shoved in the back for no free kick either.WellardSaint wrote: ↑Thu 22 Jul 2021 9:20pm I know Norf beat WCE, but it was in the wet.

Re: Team v Eagles
Backs seem lightweight and under muscled but fleet footed.
I think Darling and Kennedy alone weigh more than our back six.
Perhaps the strategy is to run fast and carry?

You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!
