It was Crouch - Dixon has been fined $3000 for it. (I think). Yes it probably was sort of accidental - he immediately bent down to see if Crouch was ok but how an umpire didnt see it was amazing.

You're assuming that any of the 3 field umpires were actually watching that passage of play.

Why would the umpire be looking there it's not as if the ball was in the immediate area. Disgraceful that this gets missed in a game that is so close.

I'll grant them the throw because that was Karma for that flagrant Butler throw they missed but the miss of the elbow to the face is so frustrating.

As usual though we have no one but ourselves to blame. We didn't kick straight or play well in our forward half.

I'd love us to be a team where the odd missed free didn't even matter because we were kicking straight and already 4 goals up by this stage.
