Round 17 Brisbane v St Kilda
There are strong indications that the round 17 game between the Lions and Saints, originally scheduled for the Gabba, will be shifted to Melbourne, with the Lions likely to remain based in Victoria after they play in Adelaide this weekend.
Even if the Qld Government end the current 3 day lockdown on Friday night, there is every likelihood that Victoria will continue to place severe restrictions on travel from Brisbane to Melbourne.
That will be disappointing for those of us who live in Qld but that's offset by the fact that St Kilda will have home ground advantage, and that could be an important factor against a team that's in great form!

Not much of a ‘lockdown’ here. Pretty much every shop and business in my area is still open. Was more traffic than normal this morning lol

No masks around here - just bullet-proof vests. And some extra duct-tape around some of the blocks of flats.

In Sydney, there's 2 new apartment complexes nearing completion, which are under big question marks.
The NSW building commissioner has refused to sign off on them, citing issues with load-bearing structures in particular.
A lot of folk have bought off the plan, and now they're all terrified. Bugger

Re: Round 17 Brisbane v St Kilda
Do any of you who live in Melbourne know if the Brisbane team are still there??
Currently Brisbane City is still classified as Red zone for entry into Victoria and if this is maintained then in all likelihood the Lions v Saints match will be moved from the Gabba to Melbourne.

Re: Round 17 Brisbane v St Kilda
They have an up and down record there - more wins recently but some of those were very close games
Forecast is for rain on the Thursday/Friday but clear on Saturday
