The club is not a charity. They should provide something for our investment.
It's ridiculous how much I love St Kilda and it is just as ridiculous how much the club tries to benefit itself because I do.
It's a bloody abusive relationship.
I love St Kilda and it would be really nice if they loved me back.
And I immediately thought of the old Billy Field song "You Weren't In Love With Me"
Have a listen if you haven't heard it before or have a listen again.
Every word could have been written about us and the St Kilda football Club (the song has the lyrics on it).
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”

Yep Jacks Back, us deluded Saint supporter’s have suffered from unrequited love since 1966 ended on such a high. Many of us didn’t listen to Blind Freddy at the end of 2020, we love struck fools believed it was at last onwards & upwards & our Club wouldn’t dump on us again.
Love the abusive relationship metaphor. Well done whoever came up with that one. Here's a great old one about abusive relationships that reminds me of the Saints:
This was my father's belief
And this is also mine:
Let the corn be all one sheaf--
And the grapes be all one vine,
Ere our children's teeth are set on edge
By bitter bread and wine.
