Time for an independent review in the next two weeks

We are not playing for the next two weeks, so it's the perfect time for a complete review of the entire football department.

Right from the top down.

Start with the board member that is responsible for the football department, through Matt Finnnis, football manager, recruiting manager, fitness staff, the coaching director, and player development.

Heads must roll for where we are.

The entire supporter base is calling for action and the run home to the end of the year will not allow anyone to hide. Let's see if our President has the balls to say something positive about what he intends to do.

Independent review - sounds like the Vic government and like that one what will it really achieve apart from wasting a lot of $$ as they do not come for free. Sounds good in the media but changes nothing,

This is the same team that finished 6th last season . Injuries have decimated the group - not quantity but quality,
As Alan Jeans said you cant polish a turd. if you don't have the cattle then you have an issue,

End of year look at things like
-fitness undertaken pre season - was it at AFL elite level?
-recruitment - Hannebry, top ups, need someone from another club with proven record on board. look at Geelong, GWS, Syd Bris who was responsible for their list improvements?
- make hard decisions not popular ones

But i fear a typical Stkilda response , knee jerk reaction at coaches and coaching staff. Lethlean is Gils mate and the AFL is our pimp so he isn't going anywhere.

I agree a full review needed but I’d wait on timing

Development coaches.

Psychologists.

Fitness staff.
