Changes v Crows (Membrey & Ross possible outs)
I heard this morning that Ross (twins) and Membrey (expecting) are returning to Melbourne and won't be able to get back to Cairns due to quarantining. With Geary and Wood injured and a question mark on King's back that is 4-5 changes this week that will need to be made.
Who comes in?
Bytel, McKernan, Joyce, Long?

We could just quickly sign up a couple of local Qld rugby players on a game by game contract- their skills couldn't be any worse than what I saw against Syd.

That will not help Hill play any better.

Out : membrey, Ross , Wood, Geary.
In: Bytel, Long , Connolly, Joyce.
Hopefully King comes up but if any doubt with a week off for the bye give him 2 weeks rest . Not making finals so be sensible . Same for Billings if he is injured.
Maybe a couple coming back form injury so not sure

One of these beanpoles has gotta be our version of Essendon’s Cox.
What are we waiting for?
Bring em on.
Connolly,
Joyce,
Clav,
With Coff.
Highmore? Not sure about? But if he was good enough for Sat he’ll be good enough for Cairns.
And then of course, perennial favorites McKernan, Lonie and Long come in.
Butler...? He’s almost become a purely defensive forward these days, chasing the ball carrier.

Wouldn't mind seeing Battle, Joyce and Long all up forward. Crash packs and strike fear into the opposition defenders.

Surely Joyce gets a game, but that is a bargain basement team. If King has a back injury, FFS, rest him.

Not by choice. Basically impossible to compete with a injury list like this.

Might as well call the game off according to some on here, because no team has ever won with injuries!

Yep and there we have it. The same poster will be potting the team for how they play.

I think he will as Ratts said in his after match interview that injuries to Gears and Wood provided an opportunity to give a taste of AFL footy to some young players.

Don't think they will drop Dunstan but he is the usual scapegoat when we lose .
