I have a good feeling.
The travel will force them to bond better than they have.
You watch em coming out as a 'team' instead of a disjointed collection of athletes

We could use a stirring victory to get our mojo back.

Yeah but we’ve got an extra day break, so Sydney might as well not even turn up!

As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”

There's only one team that gets more Frees For in Sydney than Sydney and that's the Doggies.
Such a huge game.

Re: Sydney game moved to the SCG
ohhhhh
will the free kicks tally look like this
Sydney 26
Saints....13
who goes to Buddy, Howard is no good one on one, he is always led to the ball by his direct opponent,
he is 15 metres behind, and when they mark it, he points to everyone else and yells for some unknown reason
My guess is Buddy gets an easy 8 or 9

Re: Sydney game moved to the SCG
and Papley could do a number on us
I know I said earlier that we will come out firing, because the enforced travel will get us bonding as a team for a change
But remember this is St Kilda, unpredictable, inconsistent, who knows what might happen

Re: Sydney game moved to the SCG
Sydney look to be in terrific form and their guns and senior players are firing. I've been thinking if I was tipping I'd tip Sydney...WellardSaint wrote: ↑Wed 02 Jun 2021 1:56am and Papley could do a number on us

But I'm terrible at tipping so maybe we're a chance
The other thing that I was thinking and someone else mentioned here was the extra day break for our team. Surely that has to be an advantage for us
I saw a few interviews with Swans players and also Horse and they're pretty happy with themselves at the moment and finals is starting to be on their radar.
I'm hoping they slip up like the Dogs did with that game they were due to play against Richmond. I remember seeing Bevo and a few Doggies players drinking their own bathwater before that match

Let's hope Buddy doesn't try and hospitalize someone two weeks in a row at the same venue.

Re: Sydney game moved to the SCG
Awesome, I get to watch both our Sydney games on telly. We are booked to be in Sydney in August, hoping to head to the SCG to watch the Saints, now we'll be finding a pub in Sydney to watch the game played in Melbourne.

We beat North,
We will beat South
They have exceeded expectations
We have underachieved
Now the ship begins to right itself
Butler kicks seven.
Buddy, hammy, first quarter

Re: Sydney game moved to the SCG
Tricky selection this week. If Frawley comes in possibly Highmore out. If Clark fit maybe Butler omitted? Bytel med sub.
Cannot see a fit Hill omitted.
Go Sainters!
