Lonie outstanding on the bench. I think he dropped a few good farts. Unfortunately no one was there to smell them.

Are they wearing facemasks during the song because they don't want to show their faces?

Re: Match Thread Saints v Roos Round 11 2021
I blame our fitness staff, there are no way this football team are AFL match fit. What an ordinary football effort that was, not one player ran out the game. Completely out played in the last 1/4 f...n disgraceful, against a team as poor as North Melbourne.
How many Saints players failed to body line the ball or even make body contact in marking contests. There are way too many passengers. Given the talent that is out there this team are playing worse football than they did at anytime under Richardson!
Under no circumstances should the club be happy with that win, they are very very ordinary!

Watched Geelong beat Collingwood by 10 points. It’s not that simple to just belt poor sides. The game was under control the whole game. We kick straight it’s 10 goals we won this game in every way.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Roos Round 11 2021
**** me how bad is this?
Against a bottom side rabble off the back of a 111 point belting ????
What did we show ?
We are going nowhere with many of these spuds
Expect more beltings this year and if we do serious questions on Ratten will be asked
Coaches job is to ensure team is up and about he’s failing
Goal kicking is still deplorable - we have to have 6 **** shots to get 1 goal .......just sick of it
Our forward structure looks deplorable (Battle holds his head up and needs to be left in a spot)
Is King learning anything off our club and forward line coaches???? I can’t see it he looks lost out there at times...
I think we’ll stuff him up tbh

Richo-era stuff ... maybe worse.
No spirit, no strategy, players going backwards at a rate of knots.
PRESS THE RESET BUTTON.
And bring in fresh blood across the board.
Otehrwise it will just be another six years of mediocrity.

You are kidding surely? A half decent team would have won that game by 80 points. This team is shot and have fallen off a cliff.

Being happy with that win is just supporting mediocrity, which the club has a long history of.

Mick Malthouse was spot on in his summation of us, recruiting & fitness, both woeful & Ratten should get off the bench & back up in the coach's box.

Pretty sure we beat Hawthorn by 12 goals, and we beat them in 2020 and 2019 too.

Just watching the GC game, turn over in the forward half, quick kick in to B King’s advantage 1-on-1, goal.
So simple.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Roos Round 11 2021
We won guys! Lighten up!
It was probably the strongest side North have had available all season too.
Sometimes you have to win ugly.
Bank the four points and I hope we repeat the dose next week.

Had to win and we did. Was it a elite performance? Of course not. Missing a host of key players off the back of a hiding we won.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Roos Round 11 2021
I'm with you Curly. Good insightful post. We have only beaten this mob 26 times since 1974. Thay had their strongest side in for the season, and usually this would have meant that they would have won, but we won easily.
It is now all about how we go against the Swans and the Crows in the next two matches.
