...and the scandals and disputes that led to its sudden demise in 1963 ish after remarkable success? According to this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moorabbin_Football_Club the club was involved in some wheeling-and-dealing with the Moorabbin Council which seemed incredibly ambitious at the time, trying to engineer a deal with Richmond and Fitzroy, failing, and ultimately ending up with St Kilda coming to Moorabbin!

I think they were expelled from the VFA because they allowed St.Kilda to use their ground. Something like that.
