Sponsors event - Premier Lounge Round 12 v Swans
I've had a request to run this raffle early in case people need to organise travel.
We don't have a day for this game yet but it's the weekend of June 5.
Let me know who's interested.
I have:
asiu
Ghost Like
True Believer
CQ Saint
Sainter Boy and Dad
Trev from the bush
Backfromusa
Scoop
Kosifantutti
Relax with Max
I'll update this post as others confirm their availability and interest.
Maybe George27 can give a review so we know what to look forward to.
I'll run the raffle on Sunday during the Port game.

Re: Sponsors event - Premier Lounge Round 12 v Swans
As requested, my review.
1. Easy entry . Gate 6 ( a private entrance ) straight up the stairs or lift to the room , without having to be hassled by the riff-raff.
2. Free Footy Record.
3. It is a big room , with very few chairs , so expect to be standing around a table to help you juggle your drink and finger food.
4. Stand close to the kitchen, so you get a chance to swoop on the food as it emerges. I particularly liked the curly fries , party pies and sausage rolls .
5. Seems to be an open bar . I don’t drink alcohol but my guest sidled up to the bar and was handed a beer. It went down well, so he went back and was handed another one.
6. There will be speeches- thanks to sponsors etc . We were also lucky to have a speech from Alex Riewoldt.
7. The seats were a touch disappointing. Yes it is the wonderful level 2, but at the back and behind the goals at the Lockett end. At my age , the other end of the ground , and the bottom of the packs, are a bloody long way away. Front rows level 3 on the wing offer a better overall view. However , these seats did allow me to see how shocking we were coming out of defence , how little chasing we did and how easily the Tigers picked us apart.
8. Quick exit after the game - but only after I posted my votes for best player ( with apologies for leaving Brad Crouch out, as I couldn’t see him at the bottom of the packs! )
9. Overall , leaving aside the result, an enjoyable experience , but with any seat at the footy, it would be a lot better if we win.
Good luck everyone!

Re: Sponsors event - Premier Lounge Round 12 v Swans
Wasn't that easy.
I got there early and the scanners weren't working properly.
The group in front of us had to get their barcodes manually inputted.
Then the same for my mate and I.
Then up the stairs to level 2 where there was a second scan, and again the barcodes had to be manually entered.
So not so sure about "easy entry".
Also the security guy on the ground floor entry was keen to enforce QR code scanning.
This mystifies me.
Through the sponsorship program, or for a normal match where you have to register via Ticketek to get a barcode - they already know your name, phone number, address, email, your seat number, and probably your mother-in-law's middle name - so why the heck do you need to spend another two minutes re-entering info on the QR website?
The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
They can even WATCH LIVE FOOTY!

Enrico - I was asked to give a review of my experience. I had none of the issues you experienced . I Printed out our tickets, no queue, tickets scanned no drama , up to the room, names ticked off, all good. Sorry that you had a different experience .Enrico_Misso wrote: ↑Thu 22 Apr 2021 10:43pmWasn't that easy.
