Brad Hill iis a Cancer that needs excising
When the game was up for grabs Hills pathetic efforts cost us goals and the team dropped their heads. The players obviously don’t want him in the team it’s obvious from 3000;km away in Perth. f him off and tell King to kick goals when it matters and we might be OK.

Not playing well but don’t know how it’s obvious the players don’t want him in the team.

Has a pea-heart, Lonie is Lenny Hayes by comparison.
Hurts us more than he helps.

Iv'e said this in many posts he is a good player in a good team unfortunately ATM we are average at best . He will be handy when we are playing a much better brand of footy than we played tonight but IMO we just don't have the team or game plan that suits his game so until something changes I can't see him being the player he could be at St.Kilda

Re: Brad Hill iis a Cancer that needs excising
Personally think the criticism is overblown because of salary
Hill was all over the ground and works hard. He’s not a tough player and is found wanting too often in contests but that’s to be expected
If we shovel the ball out to him, he’s a killer

Excellent point, he's paid big dollars to finish the good work of our clearance players, sadly our clearance players are wanting at the moment...which means Hill is required to run & run & run for no reward. He has deficiencies but they are being magnified by his team mates.

Why is it to be expected?
I would have thought not ducking your head in marking contests and laying basic tackles would be expected for every player on the list.

Wasn’t recruited to be a courageous as he’s never been anything but a hard working skilled runner.

Re: Brad Hill iis a Cancer that needs excising
Not just salary, we invested in Hill by selling a sizeable part of our future.
I think a lot of us just want a return on that investment.

Re: Brad Hill iis a Cancer that needs excising
In the first quarter he was creating space and calling for the ball and the players were, every time, purposely avoiding him even if it meant turning it over. Yes, just like many of the other downhill skiers. They look good when the team is up and about and listless when not.

Who ever is defending Hill’s pathetically soft performance

In my view we’ve lost at least 2 games and possibly tonight as well because of the funk that Hill puts the team in

Re: Brad Hill iis a Cancer that needs excising
He is struggling to find the footy for some reason?
He’s played AFL for near on 10 years, and now he’s suddenly s***?!
Easy to say that, much harder to ascertain why and resolve it?!
He wasn’t recruited to be Lenny Hayes. Just a hard running wingman who delivers it well

Yep, but he’s not even doing the later.
He runs only when he wants too and his disposal has been on par with McKenzie’s.

Re: Brad Hill iis a Cancer that needs excising
That may be so but when it’s your turn to go you have to do it. To not do so very quickly results in a team unravelling.

Agree, there was several times when Hill was screaming for it and our players preferred to avoid him even if there was no other loose player.1965 Saint wrote: ↑Fri 16 Apr 2021 12:03amIn the first quarter he was creating space and calling for the ball and the players were, every time, purposely avoiding him even if it meant turning it over. How did he get it 26 times last week if his team mates won’t give him the ball (and he doesn’t win contested ball)???

Re: Brad Hill iis a Cancer that needs excising
That’s very unprofessional from those players out on the field. I’d say more unprofessional than the Saints players sitting in the standsEnrico_Misso wrote: ↑Fri 16 Apr 2021 1:11amAgree, there was several times when Hill was screaming for it and our players preferred to avoid him even if there was no other loose player.1965 Saint wrote: ↑Fri 16 Apr 2021 12:03amIn the first quarter he was creating space and calling for the ball and the players were, every time, purposely avoiding him even if it meant turning it over.
