The other issue is percentage usually becomes very important when you are looking at positions 6-10 and making finals.

70+ point drubbing to a bottom 8 team does not give one confidence we will have a positive %.
Essendon are probably a bottom 4 team so what does that make us?

If we start winning tomorrow, and that's a big if, percentage will take care of itself. We obviously need a win big time to boost morale.

This reminds me of a similar position in 1998. We were also coming off a very heavy loss against Esendon after round 2.

How's he tracking?

Any news on how Gresh’s procedure went? It was such an innocuous movement.
Bens tracking pretty well, no infections or compartment syndrome problems. And Greshs operation was as positive as expected. Jade is pretty down but he’ll bounce back, pretty expected when you have a season ending injury
Gotta feel for the guy. he missed our finals campaign last season, and now he's out for 2021.
Good luck Gresh for 2022!
