The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Re: Team v Dees
I want to see more of Bytel. Good problem to have when he can’t get a game at the moment. And who would you drop out of that team for Crouch?
Battle would be unlucky, but who else. One of the small forwards - Lonie???
When Ryder and Marshall are fit straight swaps for Hunter and McKernan, but midfield spots are very competitive.

Battle is one the first picked IMO...so versatile and brings aggression wherever he goes.
Bytel will be a gun needs to keep pushing.

Brad Hill at centre half forward.
Who are they playing against.
Maybe the backyard kindergarten leftovers.

Re: Team v Dees
Can he be the sub though..?
If Woods not dropped, with 2 in and 2 out that makes Bytel outside the top 23
Or are you suggesting a late change?

I personally have seen Brad Hill devastating at CHF. He played in that position against us at the G back in 2014 I think it was.

Interesting that Long is starting ahead of Coffield
In fact that is one of the best interchange benches I've seen in a while

Re: Team v Dees
Bytel is very unlucky. I would have liked him to get an extended run & to go up against Oliver & Petracca.
I think McKenzie will be the medical emergency, he offers better variety & pace.

Petracca looms as a player we don’t have an obvious match up for if he goes forward. Really don’t like the idea of Webster picking him up.
Dmac offers the most versatility one would think.

I think DMack competed well vs GWS, he showed a lot of passion that I didn't think he had.skeptic wrote: ↑Fri 26 Mar 2021 11:28pmOne would think so...Ghost Like wrote: ↑Fri 26 Mar 2021 10:08pm Bytel is very unlucky. I would have liked him to get an extended run & to go up against Oliver & Petracca.

But I might be biased by my memory of him vs Charlie Cameron?

I meant Dmac as sub has the versatility to come on a play a few different roles and let us moves players around if we need to.
He may match up on CP but I don’t know that that’s a good fit either... or he might cover Long or Coffield’s opponents to let them have a crack
I like Carlisle but it’s pointless making him a sub unless we know one of bigger guys is going to go down
Mason again seems surplus to requirements with King, and Battle and McKernan already there
Bytel is a reasonable choice but at this stage he’s only an inside mid... doesn’t give us as many options

Harmes out really helps us. He is usually good for 20+ possessions and a goal at least each time they play us.

Re: Team v Dees
DMac so unlucky; Richo coaching him in a side that had Weller and Newnes as regulars. Now there is a good coach and an excellent playing list not giving him a chance of a consistent run at it.
Be interested to see how Highmore and Hunter go second up on a dry track. A little less aggregate adrenaline between them this week?
Hope the whole side can regroup from the emotion and conditions of week 1. Danny deserves a good effort, which I am sure all will bring.

Were need a lift from our mids we are getting slaughtered at the fall of the ball.
Clark gets pinged in front of goal, how many holding the balls have Melbourne got away with.
