She was also involved with Ricky Nixon. Her friends told her she was crazy for picking 'the Elephant Man' for a boyfriend (according to her)shanegrambeau wrote: ↑Mon 18 Jan 2021 11:45pm Thank you my fellow saints- mystery solved.

Re: Duthie is writing a "Tell All" book...
from the herald sun.com.au
'Ricky Nixon has taken a veiled swipe at Kimberley Duthie, formerly the ‘St Kilda schoolgirl’, who is writing a tell-all book about her life.
Duthie, now Kimberley Ametoglou, made headlines in 2010 and 2011 after leaking nude photos of St Kilda players and being caught in a hotel room with player manager Nixon.
Ametoglou says she has been overwhelmed by support for her journey to heal and recover, and to “share my truth”.
Nixon posted on social media, captioning a picture with his fiancee Melissa Huynh: “Thinking of writing a BOOK on how happy I am with all money going to Kids with Cancer. At least I know what’s WRITE from PONG.”
Nixon started charity Kicking for Cancer in 2019 and holds a charity football match every year with ex and current AFL players to raise money for kids with cancer.y.
Ametoglou, who is based in Queensland with her three year-old son, said on social media: “This is one of the most challenging things I have ever done, reminiscing on past traumas and a time in my life that I was at absolute rock bottom.
“I wanted to be able to share what I couldn’t say 10 years ago during many TV interviews.
“NDA contracts have finally expired now it’s 2021 and it’s my chance to finally close a chapter.”
She added: “This will be a factual version of events vs a former fictional soap opera.”
Ametoglou, who runs an eyelash salon, last year revealed she was battling cervical cancer and said next week she is undergoing a full hysterectomy after going through chemotherapy.
On Monday she posted that she was accepting media requests and would consider all bids and offers for rights and interviews ahead of her autobiography release.
In a question and answer on her Instagram, Ametoglou wrote: “Obviously I wish I hadn’t gone through all of the horrible things I have, but I’m also so grateful for what they’ve taught me. It’s taught me strength, courage, determination, passion and hard work.
“It’s taken me 10 years to rebuild a new life and I believe my business and success comes down to the hardships I was put through. Working an 80 hour week every week doesn’t seem so bad when you’ve been to hell and back. So for that, I am thankful and the people I’ve met along the way have shaped me to be who I am today.
“Brave, fearless and a role model to my beautiful son. I’m happy to have braved a storm … so that he can see the rainbow.”
She said her Instagram family had helped her through dark times."

I think that is overreaching the moderation of a discussion that is within the rules and making relevant points with reference to the thread subject.kosifantutti wrote: ↑Tue 19 Jan 2021 11:05am If anyone wants to discuss the Australian media landscape, posts have been moved to the general forum.

I'll wait for the (midday) movie I think.
I hope her final word / lesson is to advise people not to take the cash and sign NDAs. She could have had "closure" so much earlier but without the $$$. I doubt that's KD's style though.

Kim was recently seen in a Casino at around 1am in the morning. She looked like she has bounced back strongly from stage 4 cancer less than 12 months ago.

As well as a "tell all" book she's now got a "Fans Only" page. She claims it will be classy, surely an oxymoron. We've established what young Kimmie is, we're merely haggling over the price.

Re: Duthie is writing a "Tell All" book...
I'm curious why the tabloid media aren't all over this or are they playing the long game in the hope Kim will give them a more juicy and profitable story. It's also surprising there aren't questions being asked of a legal nature. The parents played a role in the Go Fund me page that raised at least 20k.

Unless Ms Duthie has previously undisclosed goss, say on Eddie Mc or C. Wilson, its all a bit sad/tacky. I don't think any of the protagonists are still active at the Club (possibly Gears? and he is beyond reproach and not connected); the current management and playing group has the credibility and media smarts to simply dismiss/ignore rubbish for what it is. Anyway who would bother being publisher.

I think it is just a simple regression. On one axis is how juicy is the goss and how much meat can be hacked off on the character assassination ledger iinthe story. On the other is the 'tenor of the times'. Smack bang in th emiddle of women's month, with protests, a government sex scandal, and the wider 'me too' movement, the vulnerability of the 'ol school tuff male on the brink (Packer, McGuire, me and you?) ...it is a good time to strike.skeptic wrote: ↑Tue 16 Mar 2021 12:53pmPbly the Herald SunYorkeys wrote: ↑Tue 16 Mar 2021 10:31am Unless Ms Duthie has previously undisclosed goss, say on Eddie Mc or C. I image the programmers, with absolutely zero accountability to conscience, would simply demand more from potential guests on their breakfast, current affairs shows....i.e 'We want two or three bombshells, plus .1.5 names per 30 seconds of air time, if you wanna promote your book.." etc.,

Re: Duthie is writing a "Tell All" book...
Is it possible all this talk about a tell all book was just a way to get publicity for her new "only fans" account? or she has started one because no one was interested in paying her for her book? Either way seems like she is a bit desperate for money at the moment.

Guess I will miss the lot. Don't watch free to air tellie apart from news and I never watch f****** talking heads whether they are on breakfast shows, ABC or current affairs. I can barely tolerate that dick Robbo on 360 but then only because it's a footy show.shanegrambeau wrote: ↑Tue 16 Mar 2021 1:11pmI think it is just a simple regression. Fox Footy dontated $500 to her fight for life campaign so I'd expect Murdoch will want a return on that investment unless it is a back payment for services previously rendered.shanegrambeau wrote: ↑Tue 16 Mar 2021 1:11pmI think it is just a simple regression. If I was Kim's parents I would be concerned that they were dragged into an illegal conspiracy to defraud citizens of a significant amount. If I was a grub eating journo I'd be knocking on the parents door to ask questions. It won't surprise me if that's where Murdoch takes the story.
