It seems every year lots of other clubs have high quality father/son options but we don't. There must have been something dodgy in the water at Moorabbin from 1980 to 2003

I remember about 14 years ago on the site that preceded Saintsational that I suggested a breeding program involving St Kilda footballers and female supporters. Only one female supporter put her hand up and she wanted to breed with Milney. Really wish we could have got that program up and running.

We have had a few but none have really worked out Baily Rice recently & I think Ian Stewarts son tried out but never made the grade ,not sure if Chad Davis was father son but was handy with out being a star . Matty Lawrence was ok but again I don't think he was father son & probably a few others I don't remember . Banga had a boy but I don't think he was a chip off the old block ,Plugger had 4 or 5 girls so I'm hoping Roo's boys can develop in to clones of their Oldman

Connor Harvey wanted to play cricket and wasn't much chop at that either, despite the Harvey family genes.

Chad Davis, famous only for getting his testicle chewed. Ben Stewart got his mother's footy genes. Stuart Annand, son of Bud, no good. Nathan Burke, Spud and Plugger 11 daughters and no sons between them. We are cursed.

Jet Peckett coming through and Loewey has a few sons coming through. Apart from that it's the continuing father/son desert.

I don’t get the fascination in father sons

For every father son champion pair (Abletts) there are hundreds of Sons that either don’t make it or don’t even play footy.

It is all about having the priority of access to players.
If Riewoldt's boys all take up Australian Rules Football we will have first dibs at them.

Geelong & the Bulldogs have done pretty well out of it & Collingwood starting to get some reward & yeah it's hit & miss but I would love another Stewie Loewe

Would Stewart Loewe’s kid be a good mark because he was?
I mean, was Stewart Loewe’s dad a great CHF?

Geelong have had a few good ones

Again, compared to the number of other Champions that have kids who never play for Geelong it is almost insignificant

I think you have taken me out of context . I didn't mean to insinuated that Stewies son would be a clone it was just wishful thinking
