The perplexing trade of Dougie Howser
Power making an offer for Alir Alir due to shortage of quality key defenders this season.
Makes trading Howard even more perplexing.
Did it cost them a shot at a premiership this season?

That is bizarre Joffa. If they'd like to give up Rozee, I can think of a half backline we could give them...
HB: Webster Carlisle Roberton
That said, Carlisle is actually pretty valuable for our set up. He allows Wilkie & Coffield more freedoms for intercepting, third man up & rebounding.

One of the weirdest trades I can remember. Dougie could end up being an AA full back. Has all the tools.Joffa Burns wrote: ↑Fri 23 Oct 2020 9:58pm Power making an offer for Alir Alir due to shortage of quality key defenders this season.

Meanwhile, Port had Trent McKenzie playing on Hawkins and Lynch. So strange.

Personal chemistry issues, coach and player; over estimated Houston's ability to play on tall forwards; Todd Marshall overestimated as a CHF?

Very likely true. St Kilda has suffered greatly from overestimatitis in the past. Our current recruiting & coaching do not seem to have this affliction.

He wanted out. We courted and he chose us.
Was not a cheap trade either, but we took Paddy Ryder as part of it.

Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.
