How does Webster at 27 who has played a handful of games in two years warrant #36 regardless of willing buyer willing seller.

I like Webster as a player, hard as a cats head but he's a shuffle with pick #48 to us giving them back #58 at very best.

"However Webster's agent, Peter Lenton of Kapital Sports, said on Sunday that he had not had any contact with Adelaide about Webster and that he expected the Tasmanian backman to remain at Moorabbin in 2021.

"I haven't spoken to Adelaide about Jimmy," Lenton said.

I can't see how a club is going to go hard for any player that was not active for quite a few games in 2020, particularly with list reduction looming. Of course this is the time of year is ripe for the tin foil group to trot their player movements stuff. Could all get together and have a speculative rumour-in at Festival Hall. Until new owner takes over.

No doubt that players lose form when they have been out of the game for a while. I think the bigger blokes take a lot longer to regain their fitness and their touch.

The best examples I can think where I saw players come back after extended periods was with Plugger and also Fraser Gherig when they both made a comeback

Remember also when the Duck/Wayne Carey was playing for Adelaide? He was only half the player he used to be when he played for North

Maybe Dunny, Jimmy and Dyl will be different because they have still been in the system training and playing competitive scratch matches
