Jesse Hogan
Apparently up for trade. If he agreed to living in a spare room at Geary’s house and he is over his injuries I’d be up for it.

Re: Jesse Hogan
Yep, I'd take him. Freo can pay half his salary. I imagine a packet of chips & a dropped pie could get it done. Reunite Hogan & Tom McDonald, at worst Sandringham would have the best forward line if that's how they choose to spend a Melbourne winter. Both at their best are very good so it is a lifestyle, application, last chance choice.

Re: Jesse Hogan
Can play, as can Ben Brown and Jeremy Cameron.
Depends a bit on how the game evolves.
If, for instance, they stick with the shorter quarters and retain four on the interchange, it really limits the effectiveness of the traditional full forward. There is no space in which to lead and it’s very difficult to isolate them one on one.
I think I’d prefer to invest in Marshall and King as key forwards and get another really good ruckman to help Paddy out.
You can say Marshall is too important in the ruck, I guess, but you can also make an argument that CHF is still the key position on the ground. He is strong, smart and a booming kick.
The other thing is, King needs to spend summer working on his goal-kicking technique and the mental side to it.
He’s a confident kid, so it shouldn’t be a problem getting on top of it. But it needs to be sorted before it becomes a weakness that dogs his career.
He’s going to be having a LOT of set shots over the next 10 or so years, so the time to sort it is now.
It’s all about finding a technique and mindset that gets better under pressure rather than deteriorates under pressure.

Didn't they learn from Lovett.

It's almost a situation where you'd love to help the kid out but at what cost?
I'd say no but I hope he gets a shot and turns it around as he is not too old and could be a star of the game.
Dickheads can change their ways and be incredibly valuable.

Re: Jesse Hogan
Hogan should ask to go to the Bombers, i reckon he'd slot right in at the Hangar.
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Re: Jesse Hogan
The AFL should start a club for these players and call it 'The Headcases', where players of his ilk can be sent to stop rotting the real clubs.

Re: Jesse Hogan
Needs to get he's head screwed on.
From what I can tell he's a better than good mark and can kick straight....not a bad footballer
At 25 he is worth the risk for a club
