What concerns me is making to many unnecessary changes to a winning team
His current role is not to kick goals, it is a bonus if he does. He's playing higher up the ground as a two way runner trying to help out accosss the half back and then help with i50s and the forward presss and he did get a few yesterday but his stats for his current role were down on the previous month which was very good.

He's not playing as a small forward.
We know his role. He simply isnt doing it to an acceptable level.

In saying that i suspect he'll play still.
What's his role then?

So other than Hannebery who is elite,
Sinclair who was once classified as elite,
and Lonie who knows both of them

We can’t expect anyone to come in and play good footy.

He did not get to half back and lend assistance at all, this is just Secret Vortex made up BS like your marketing Contract at the Saints

You'd better tell the coaches because when they break the groups into forwards, backs & mids at 1/4 & 3/4 time breaks he was standing in the wrong group (hint - he was with the forwards). Also his rotations on and off were with Lonie, Butler and on one occasion Sinclair in the 3rd 1/4 and that was the 1/4 Sincs started forward.

Gotta make three changes this week. If Battle doesn't come up then it will be

Hind
Marsh
Phillips.

That's a win to Richmond right there. No disrespect to those lads but it's a fair down grade on the quality of our side.

Who you think is going to come in and play better footy than those three from this list.

Robbo (played round 1)
Savage (hasn't played a game in 12 months)
Dunny (played round 1)
Bytel (self explanatory)
Byrnes.(self explanatory)

:-)
Billings at left hf flank had marked, handballed it to a kiwi guy wearing #5, who kicked perfectly to Battle near the square, who leaned into a weakling swan, marked, played on, goal :-)
If that #5 wasn't Savage, who was it then?

Well IMO Sincs is an elite user of the ball. He makes good and quick decisions and then delivers the ball well to advantage.

He is not an elite player at present though because his disposal count is not high enough. He has the quality, but not quite the quantity. But he helps to make us a better team.

Sinclair got pinged in the Footscray forward line taking too long to make up his mind.

Every player gets pinged from time to time. Compare him to most of his team mates and you may appreciate that he gets pinged less often.

I know the incident you were talking of and yes he was a fraction slow. He was tackled as he kicked it. Lonie by comparison was caught a lot more.

I have watched the whole game again to watch it without the emotion of a live game and Sinclair was very good.

Sometimes it’s a little less about one player making a mistake or bad play, and more about the other doing something great.
Crozier (I think), read the man really well, set upon Sincs like a bear trap and laid a fantastic tackle. Sincs didn’t dilly daddle around, grabbed it, evaded whilst surveying options and was put down whilst kicking

I personally wouldn’t hold that against him

Stats can be misleading. Kent set up a couple of scoring opportunities that didn't register as stats.

With 2:50 left in the 2nd quarter Kent did a toe tap to Brad Hill which led to a Paddy Ryder goal.

With 8:10 left in the 3rd qtr Kent slapped the ball to Sinclair which led to the Geary goal.

He wasn't our best but he shouldn't become the whipping boy.

He is inconsistent but that just means he's due for a good game this week.

With three other possible forced outs, he ain't going anywhere this week.

Here is what I don't get. This is the time of year where team stability is most important (unless you have a superstar to come back).
As it stands right now we have 3 forced changes to make, why would we consider making a fourth?
There is no lower competition which gives players the chance to shine so it will be utter stupidity to drop Kent now.

Just getting it out there early so we can avoid wasting bandwidth.

Doesn't matter what his statistics are. Don't even look them up, Ratts probably won't bother looking at his stats either.

Why will Kent get a match, becuse he's match conditioned. The only changes will be for Paddy and possibly Jake if he has to leave for the birth. That's it. There will be no dropping players.

As a footnote a poster suggested the Geelong coach had courage for dropping two players. How did that turn out.
I tend to agree.

The outs help his case.
