Path to the GF
I’m going to put our horrible form down to a big training/playing load getting ready to peak at finals . So if we can make finals in 6th or 7th we can play and beat one of Collingwood or GWS Then we can play Brisbane without Harris Andrews and win then beat Port again . Thus successfully avoiding the sides that would then smash us in the GF.

More realistically let's flop into the 8 and maybe fluke a win the first week so our younger guys get 2 goes at preparing for finals.

More realistically we get smashed in the first final and learn how far we have to go

Re: Path to the GF
Now this is it.
Beat a pack of Dogs in an elimination.
Then beat the loser of Brisbane and Richmond in a sudden death semi final.
Then play a preliminary final probably against Geelong or Port Adelaide.
Then beat the last team still standing.

Just to clarify
Week 1 Dogs
Week 2 loser of Lions and Tigers
Week 3 winner of Cats and Power
Week 4 anyone except Dogs
Week 5 still drunk.

Re: Path to the GF
My preference is -
Dogs win ...... to get things started
Brisbane in Semi ..... before Andrews gets back
On my knees praying that Port beat the Cats ...... so Prelim v Port (Round 8 deja vu)
Then Tigers in GF .... but not before them getting beat up in tight contest vs Cats or Freeagles

Re: Path to the GF
I don't think we will make the GF ... but if we do
- is it possible to get to Brisbane from Melbourne ?
- does it depend on what COVID-19 restrictions are lifted ?

No no way. Victorians who are not Afl related are about as welcome in Qld as the bubonic plague.

I think they are making some in Adelaide.
