The Lazy Media
Terry Wallace has taken aim at StKilda for bringing back Hannebry. Claiming he was in poor form in the games he played before hand so can't understand the risk. Hannebry was averaging 18 disposals a game. Not great numbers but in this shortened season and game time its about the mark

Re: The Lazy Media
He's just proving that he can dish up anything he likes in the media and the market will swallow it up without batting an eyelid, burp, then wipe the chops and salivate at the prospect he will keep serving up more of the same.
I'd love to be a journo in the AFL industry, it is money for jam.

Re: The Lazy Media
Wallace and Caro Wilson are stirrers, they just weave a bit of a story just to get folks talking.
Their editors and bosses don't give a rat's *what* they say, as long as it gets a response.
It makes press conferences more interesting when another journo rehashes the garbage to a coach; then the Mango Mercenary can reference *that* exchange in a chat to his boss, to show that he *Wallace* is relevant and insightful *burp*

A real Sainter will pledge allegiance to the ❤ and despise the Pies, the Blues, and the Injectors.

Re: The Lazy Media
Do not listen to the media.
Want to watch the most boring and devious thing on television and probably in mankind's history, then tune into a daily live press conference at 11am.

Re: The Lazy Media
Hannebery has always given us something when he plays. His ball use and decision making is elite, which is something we desperately need

Re: The Lazy Media
I fear it is going to get worse, the Asterisk Cup will have proved to the the AFL and media executives that you can replace crowds with cardboard cutouts, crowd noise with canned sound bites, TV commentators calling matchs via their laptops in different states to where the game is being played and journos feeding us stories about players without having even attend one single training session.WellardSaint wrote: ↑Fri 18 Sep 2020 1:10pm Wallace and Caro Wilson are stirrers, they just weave a bit of a story just to get folks talking.

It's been cooky cutter content long before COVID-19 but executive management now have a proven formula for delivery of the cooky cutter content for a much cheaper cost base.
