Re: Team v Giants
Happy to see Carlisle back, tho worried we’ve lost a lot of dash with Jones and Hind out.
Let’s just hope DH can get through the game and earn some of that 4 million dollars...

Re: Team v Giants
Coffield will be happy. I have a feeling we may see his best game tomorrow night. Let him off the leash.

Re: Team v Giants
Has kicked one goal on the last 5 games and had about 30d, 15 of which came in one game.
Toss of the coin between whether his performance or Ratten’s efforts in selecting the team have been worse

Re: Team v Giants
Certainly lost pace but quality went through the roof.
Kent I think owes someone a very large beer & certainly a game to keep him in a final's side. Someone suggested Hanners to spend time in the forward line with some crucial guest appearances in the middle & allow Bytel / Byrnes a crack. I would have preferred that to Kent.

Bytel would’ve been nice but I get it we need some dash so Kent keeps his spot

Re: Team v Giants
Giants at full strength minus Ward & Davis
They have a point to prove as well after being smacked over the last few weeks
Our recent record against them has been poor - 1w 1d in the last 7 encounters
Can't say I am overly confident so ......... Saints by 5 goals

Good ins.
Gabba a very short ground. Pace not as crucial at the Gabba.

Re: Team v Giants
Kent’s job in the team is to kick goals
Dash, run whatever you call it means nothing if you can’t get the ball

Re: Team v Giants
That's right. Kent fumbles a lot, is a very average mark at best and when the ball hits the ground, he's pretty much useless below his knees.
Can't understand at all why he continues to get a game.
Re: Team v Giants
Taranto, coniglio, kelly, hopper and greene we should've selected another onballer .thats gws strength and our weakness ,got a bad feeling that this is very similar to last week hope im wrong

Re: Team v Giants
I'd love to hear an independent opinion about Gearys place in the team.
I know we have probably done it to death
But having a captain who is the least skilled player, a player that the opposition zone off so he DOES get the ball at kick ins, is a real concern.
I wish we could graft his attitude and commitment onto Carlisles body.
