Coming out of contract very handy player IMO . Probably will sign with the Bummers again but does anyone think he worth looking at if he's wants to test the water ?

Never ever trade with Essendope again.
Rugby League would have to be the stupidest, most moronic and over rated game of all time.

Re: Andy Mc Grath
Obviously no one watched him play the 2nd half against the Dawks last game - for all of Joe’s goals - it was McGrath moving into the middle and dominating Worpel that won the game for them.
Ess are so stupid - they basically use him as a back pocket. He’s a serious player if used as a genuine centre sq mid but it’s moot / he’ll be sniffing AvGas out there for the rest of his days.

Another posession winner that doesn't have matching skills. Plus he has an oversized jaw.
Want to watch the most boring and devious thing on television and probably in mankind's history, then tune into a daily live press conference at 11am.

By that logic we should go hard for Ben Keays who destroyed Hawthorn in the first half last night.

Re: Andy Mc Grath
Fair call. McGrath is a good footballer. Really good. But outside of the centre square, Essendon plays him so deep (to cover for their shite defence) that it makes him easy to pick off.Goose is king wrote: ↑Wed 02 Sep 2020 5:34pmBy that logic we should go hard for Ben Keays who destroyed Hawthorn in the first half last night.Saintmatt wrote: ↑Tue 01 Sep 2020 9:30pm Obviously no one watched him play the 2nd half against the Dawks last game - for all of Joe’s goals - it was McGrath moving into the middle and dominating Worpel that won the game for them.

He’s also not the first player that the Backstreet Boy has beaten this year. That said - I think Bytel will become a more effective mid in time anyway.

Re: Andy Mc Grath
Dodoro would want Steele, Roma, our 1st rounder and a future 2nd for McGrath and a future 3rd coming back our way

Re: Andy Mc Grath
Would want him as really developing beautifully unfortunately at Ess and Dudoro will not make reasonable trades- they love it when he stands firm, whoever when Daniher leaves for nothing and a compensation end of first round pick ( when they could have had 2 last year) see how much they like it.

Re: Andy Mc Grath
I get your point but, our Pick 5 for Carlisle and Gresham hasn't exactly gone in their favour (that fvck Dildoro is still copping it from their fans for selecting Aaron Francis ... who still doesn't want to be there)

Re: Andy Mc Grath
Kidding right?
He's a decent runner and wins his own ball.
Absolute walk up start in our best 22. Easily.
Get him off the Essendon gear and he could be an absolute gun.

I would love McGrath. I'm pretty sure most of us dobangaulegend wrote: ↑Fri 04 Sep 2020 11:51pm Just thought I would put it out there to see what saintsationists thought of the idea . Pretty much been a resounding no but thanks for your response positive or negative
Coming in to his prime, and developing in to a terrific player who is equally at home on a back flank or in the middle of the ground.
The problem is Dodoro - he will want FAR more than we would be prepared to give up for him.
