Trade Billings
Simply not up to it. trade him at the end of the season, we might get someone who can play.
Rugby League would have to be the stupidest, most moronic and over rated game of all time.

One bad loss and performance and we trade a good player in his prime with good skills. Real smart.happy feet wrote: ↑Sat 29 Aug 2020 11:19pmYou must be joking, surely. He is a soft ineffective footballer.

Story, he is soft and we are carrying him. A player of his supposed caliber should be winning us games. He is not doing this, over rated and over paid.johnearljames wrote: ↑Sat 29 Aug 2020 11:21pmOne bad loss and performance and we trade a good player in his prime with good skills. Re: Trade Billings
Should have been given the week off 3 weeks ago.
Massive miscalculation made at selection vs Geelong.
Should have rested 5-7 players including JB
We've been rolling the dice ever since.
Stop the trade nonsense....he is a genuine playmaker.
And yes he was terrible tonight

Great to have you on board. When can you remember Billings ever standing out and winning us a game. Please tell me that moment when, yeah Billings won us that one. Like we did with Harvey, Hayes, Burke, Jones, Winmar. They are who we should be expecting Billings to perform like. He is over rated and over paid.Ghost Like wrote: ↑Sat 29 Aug 2020 11:58pmI'll play. Re: Trade Billings
I agree that players needed to be better managed. We rolled the dice and it worked against Port Adelaide but it has cost us against Brisbane and Melbourne. Possibly a mistake by selection committee and coaches, but perhaps they wanted to learn some things about the list and about certain playersfugazi wrote: ↑Sat 29 Aug 2020 11:26pm Should have been given the week off 3 weeks ago.

I have a feeling that all of the decisions that Ratts and the footy department have made this year have been with an eye on the long term. It seems like they are testing which players are capable and the more pressure that you place on certain players, the better it is for the coach and the list manager to decide who stays and who needs to go.
All the lessons learned this year will put us in a better position for the next couple of years. If we are going to play finals we need players that can stand up and push through on a consistent basis during a finals series
Billings has been a good player for us, but he is replaceable. He hasn’t been consistent enough and I wouldn’t want to be relying on him if we are playing a brutal 3 or 4 weeks of finals

That said Jack is certainly tradeable for the right price and that would be a very good midfielder
Sorry 7 years seen enough he is in his prime and doesn’t do it often enough or when you need him too
He’s a bit downhill skier for mine Jack
I think we can cover a wing/HFF from Clarke or Coffiekd possibly over time
Sinclair was better than Billings tonight Hill too

P.S..: Without looking at stats, brownlow votes, coaches votes...let's start with the Bulldogs, a relatively successful team in Jack's time with us.
Looking forward to those "ineffectual" stats.
