Re: Match Thread Saints v Swans Round 9 2020
Kent is out, Lonie not playing and Parker still can't touch the ball.
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!

that 50 metre penalty wars pure bulls***. But the maggot apologists on here will still say it was justified.fugazi wrote: ↑Sat 01 Aug 2020 7:14pmEnrico_Misso wrote: ↑Sat 01 Aug 2020 6:50pmPerhaps the umpire will demonstrate during the week how good he is at throwing the ball 25 metres to a target ON THE FULL!
50M for the extra 0.2 sec it took for the slightly steeper parabola.

Ryder is all class. And I’m not just talking about his ruckwork. He won a few contested balls off the deck that quarter. When he gets his hands on the footy he’s clean and he makes good decisions

We'll open game up next quarter. Should win from here. Gresh great. Clark and Coff are fast becoming elite. We'll win 2017 draft period because if those two.

Parker is not showing he is AFL standard so far.
Hope he does something in the second half.
Really hope so as I like the guy.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Swans Round 9 2020
Third quarter is the premiership quarter.
We need to win this quarter and outscore them - I know this sounds obvious, but we must put the feet on the Swans throat tonight. They are only just hanging in. Rampe is showing signs that his injury is restricting him.
They will try to make it a slugfest if we don't turn the afterburners on. I think the fact is it at the 'Gabba and not at the SCG or Docklands gives us more space on the wings if we win the ball in the centre.
I think the match will open up in the last quarter.

13 more inside 50s for a 22 point lead.
The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.

He had as much of that ball as Marshall did at the other end.

This will sound odd because I've a soft spot for Savage but does anyone else feel a wave of Richo'ness when he has the ball?

He has been great without the ball but agree some long bombs to nowhere.Ghost Like wrote: ↑Sat 01 Aug 2020 7:44pm This will sound odd because I've a soft spot for Savage but does anyone else feel a wave of Richo'ness when he has the ball?
