Though not with plays like that last one where he handballed out to a Port player in space.

Great intensity from both sides. Great game to watch so far. Our midfield got moving that quarter. Pressure excellent. Just need to keep getting it forward. It's going to be one of those games if the standard keeps up.

Super half of footy. Standing up well . Howard terrific down back. Jones in the middle. Clark so composed . Both Paddy and Roma involved.
Great to see pressure set shot goals from Butler, Ryder and Hind.

We have a few that could lift. Need em to. This game is gonna be very long for us.
Really glad we didnt give em a cheap one in that last twenty seconds.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Port Round 8 2020
Impressive first half Saints against the Duelling Banjos. Port will be toast once the other half of our team decide to lay a tackle. When the heat comes, Port get caught out on the slope.
Thank god Ryder is playing for us. He, Jones and Steele are the stand outs, Clark not far behind.

Haven’t seen much of Geary, should he move to Byrne Jones?

Re: Match Thread Saints v Port Round 8 2020
Big opportunity this second half. Hope we can get a few early goals and keep the crowd out of it.
Enjoying Clark’s game so far - feels like he’s starting to put It together.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Port Round 8 2020
Second halves have not been god for us. Let's hope we can turn that around.
Need Gresham to do something that benefits our side. Parker unsighted. Hind unsighted until (he kicked that goal). Membrey and King need to take a mark in our forward line as does Marshall when playing as a forward.

Tonight Jack Sinclair is handling the ball cleanly and jade Gresham isn't. The coach's dilemma. Go with past talent or tonight's performance. I would put Sinclair in the center mix, and drag out Seb who is a bystander tonight. He really needs to put his body on the line rather the the sideways slide.

Come on Sainters.
No second half fade out..please!!
Marshall should be ready to rip in the ruck if Ryder tires, says Cornes. Ace move by Ratts.

Is Paton or Coffield on Gray? I thought Geary was on Ebert. Great suggestion Kosi to move Gears on to Byrne Jones - let Parker or Hind have a run off half back.
Apologies to Billings, he's also playing a solid game.

Does Seb ever take responsibility for absorbing pressure or does he always look to pass the hot PotOOOOOOOO? It seems to me that he just passes the issue to someone else.perfectionist wrote: ↑Sat 25 Jul 2020 9:51pm .... drag out Seb who is a bystander tonight. Re: Match Thread Saints v Port Round 8 2020
That is a dilemma, Sinclair is just so clean with the ball. If he didn't fade or disappear in games he'd never get dropped. I hope Ross is playing on Boak, if not he should be.perfectionist wrote: ↑Sat 25 Jul 2020 9:51pm Tonight Jack Sinclair is handling the ball cleanly and jade Gresham isn't. The coach's dilemma.
