Next Generation Academy
About to continue a family legacy with the introduction of my 9 week old Granddaughter, the sixth generation, to a live St.Kilda game. Apartment across from the Gabba booked and just waiting for the email from the club.
Babies at the footy is not for everyone and I respect that, but it didn't hurt me or her mum and siblings. I hope we can induct her with a win.

Congratulations CQ
Haven't got Grandchildren yet but I have passed the "blessing" of St Kilda fandom to my kids....looking forward to doing it with Grandchildren (eventually)

7 of 11 grandchildren are saints supporters. I will work on the two great granddaughters when they are a tad older

Re: Next Generation Academy
Haha. 7of 11 is a good strike rate.
I like to start them early and give them no choice, when the wife pulls out the baby pics of them donning Saints dummies, bibs and jumpsuits. All still in boxes somewhere.
The baby will be wearing her mother's jumpsuit. 3 from 3 with my kids and 1/1 with the Grands. Fortius Quo Fidelis.
Mind you, by the time, if I'm so blessed, I get to 11, I'll probably be paying for 16 memberships, albeit interstate ones. Lol.

Re: Next Generation Academy
You do realise its child cruelty making then barrack for St Kilda.
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!

Re: Next Generation Academy
Truth be known, in the boxes with the baby gear are Riewoldt, Goddard, Hayes and Milne match jumpers. Dal Santo, Montagna, Kosi and Fisher signed photos and endless player badges and card collections. I blame these blokes.CQ SAINT wrote: ↑Fri 24 Jul 2020 11:36pmI own the house, tv's, Kayo account and pay for the holidays to Melbourne, Gold Coast and Brisbane and pay for the memberships. It may be child cruelty but it fosters a resilient outlook on life.Jacks Back wrote: ↑Fri 24 Jul 2020 11:17pm You do realise its child cruelty making then barrack for St Kilda.

Me too minneapolis, plus a few more, never flinched from the challenge even when they win wooden spoons, countless numbers of them since the late 50s.minneapolis wrote: ↑Sat 25 Jul 2020 4:12amIt may be child cruelty but it fosters a resilient outlook on life.Jacks Back wrote: ↑Fri 24 Jul 2020 11:17pm You do realise its child cruelty making then barrack for St Kilda.

And as I've pointed out before, Saints supporters are bestowed with Honorary Doctorates in Grief Counselling, we can handle adversity, tragic losses and gross disappointments, in fact anything that life throws at us, like no other team supporter
I really feel so blessed to be a proud Sainter!!

Me too. We have had the privilege of following a team that contained some of the greatest players ever to grace a football field,Sanctorum wrote: ↑Sat 25 Jul 2020 12:54pmMe too minneapolis, plus a few more, never flinched from the challenge even when they win wooden spoons, countless numbers of them since the late 50s.minneapolis wrote: ↑Sat 25 Jul 2020 4:12amIt may be child cruelty but it fosters a resilient outlook on life.Jacks Back wrote: ↑Fri 24 Jul 2020 11:17pm You do realise its child cruelty making then barrack for St Kilda.
