Bet he would not have rung with an apology if we had lost.

Never said the umpires had a good game.
Did he apologise for mistake or for an AFL backed umpiring conspiracy against us?

There's quite a few matches he could run his eyes over which I thought were even more glaring.
Whenever we play WCE it is just a joke.

Hopefully the publicity about the umpiring will help our case to have a less biased display in Adelaide next Saturday.

About dodgy decisions and mistakes - yes. About a deliberate conspiracy to cheat - no.

He should apologise to Adelaide, too. It was an all round substandard umpiring performance. Lots of knee jerk tiggy touchwood stuff.
Simple rule of thumb for umpires should be, keep out of it when you can. Pay the obvious frees.

Re: CURLY ALERT - Umpires boss apologises to Ratten
In the virtual world in which we are now all forced to live, I virtually listened in to the conversation.
The umpire's boss said "impoverished clubs like St Kilda have to suck it up when playing wealthier clubs.
It is important that the fans of the wealthier clubs are kept happy.
Football is not a game or sport, it is a business that sells memberships and entertainment content that attracts advertising.
The wealthier clubs are therefore entitled to the benefits of an umpiring conspiracy that favours them."

The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

Some justice for the 6 out of 8 goals from mystifying frees to Adelaide.
Clearly the umps who hadn't umpired in front of a crowd for 10 months weren't used to a crowd and the voices of affirmation.

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.

That might be tomorrow night's news. I'm not going to regurgitate "whispers in the sky", though.
