I don't think Billings was poor, rather down on his output/effectiveness, as were virtually all players except Butler and perhaps Carlisle. Poor is the shocker Jack Steven had.Scollop wrote: ↑Wed 24 Jun 2020 1:51am "As for Billings, certainly wasn't the worst, still had 16 possessions"
Jfc!! If a player coughs it up with turnovers and clangers he'd be more valuable to the team if he got zero possessions.
AFL player ratings compare not only overall ratings but ratings within each game. Billings is a very important player for us overall, as is Sebby, but in last weeks game I think they were poor

Thanks for the reminders re player ratings per game. They actually confirm my statement "As for Billings, certainly wasn't the worst, still had 16 possessions"
- many players were below Billings in ratings, and he DID have 16 possessions. (at 81% efficiency)
He did have 3 clangers, but he also had 3 clangers vs bulldogs, but got more possessions & scored. 6 turnovers this week vs 5 last week. Go figure. Gained more metres than BOG Steele Sidebottom. I think I'll take Billing's output for the match rather than zero possessions.
That's enough stats for me, they can be very misleading. I prefer just to watch the game, even with the sound turned on, but the statometer turned off. Try it.
