Geary and Hind for Battle and Marsh.
7 man defense with Carlisle freed up.

Re: In the mix for round three.
Wet afternoon/evening. Marsh and Battle would make us top heavy. I suspect one change......Webster for Geary, but maybe we'll play Battle instead of King in those conditions. Battle's physical strength and big tank would be an asset in those conditions

Re: In the mix for round three.
I would normally say no change after a performance like that except for injuries of course (Geary) but with us coming off a 6 day break and Collingwood 9 days, I think there might be a few changes.
I'd be keen to get Robbo and Battle in....

Bummer Gears is out - we will miss his leadership and experience especially if it’s wet and against a top side

Agreed, I like his versatility and pace.

I think I'd like to see either Battle or Webster come in for Geary.
Would personally like to see Dunstan come back in too to give us a bit more inside, given the weather forecast

Re: In the mix for round three.
I'm really not sure why everyone is so keen for Roberton to come back in? He was poor in our 1st round loss. Hasn't played in 2 years.
The way some talk about him it's like he was Matt Maguire in his prime, Max Hudgton, Sean Dempster and Sam Fisher all rolled into one. Robertson for me is back up at best atm with the depth of players that we have. For mine Webster and Marsh are ahead of him.

Re: In the mix for round three.
Robbo was on the verge of All Australian. if he can return to that form and even improve further he's an automatic best 22. that's why people are keen to see him return. has to earn his spot, but we are hoping he gets back to his best as it would improve us even further.

In 2017 Webster & Robbo were walk up starts, the fact both aren't playing now shows depth.Moods wrote: ↑Thu 18 Jun 2020 4:33pm I'm really not sure why everyone is so keen for Roberton to come back in? He was poor in our 1st round loss. Hasn't played in 2 years.

Both are AFL standard players so I think they'll get an opportunity.
Robbo was playing really good footy before the health incident but Wilkie has quietly slotted into that role superbly.

His kicking is excellent.
