Re: Votes v Dogs
I know its cold down there, but it is like a much needed fresh breeze to hear good news about these players,
Ryder,
Jones,
Butler
players I know nothing about but wondered whether they would be any good.
Isn't this about our best win for years?

Re: Votes v Dogs
Agreed - was somewhat overshadowed by others but was very good all evening. Some of those tackles were big and was actually the starting point in a number of great, fast plays

Billings
Ryder - he set up so many clearances for the mids to pounce on, which made huge contribution to this win.
Jones
Butler
Steele
Clarke
Not a weak link in this great team effort!
The "Foreign Legion" is doing the club proud...when Brad Hill hits his stride, as he will, StKilda can beat any team...

Re: Votes v Dogs
5 Billings (took control of the game. He put his hand up, he demanded the ball, he puffed his chest out with his actions and that is true leadership)
3 Steele (another potential future captain)
3 Jones (the Sydney work ethic - Hannas/Membrey/Jones link looks like it will bring dividends to our club)
2 Clark (classy and clinical; we don’t consider him or J.B. to to be tough, but they both stood up when it came to contested footy)
1 Wilkie (kudos to our recruiting team for picking this bloke)
1 Seb (he played a different role and he helps us win when he plays aggressive)

Re: Votes v Dogs
I watched the replay last night and am so impressed by the team effort and cohesion
Great game by Billings, Steele, Ross, Clark, Lonie, Maxy, Butler, Ryder, Jones, etc.. etc...
I thought Wilkie was our best defender but Gears, Howard and Jakey were all significant
Credit to Ratts and his coaching team, fitness team and the whole footy department

Interesting to reference that against the coaches votes.
The big omissions were Clark 7 Ryder and addition was Gresham.
10 Jack Billings (STK)
6 Zak Jones (STK)
4 Jack Steele (STK)
3 Josh Dunkley (WB)
3 Daniel Butler (STK)
