Firstly, being a national comp you need the Interstate borders open.
I reckon this is still 3 months away.
So I’m talking perhaps mid July.
Then once that restriction is lifted, the AFL need to give 30 days notice to the clubs.
I reckon mid-August is the earliest resumption date.
Not sure if there will be crowds or not.
Thoughts?

Sport of any type at any level will not be played again this year.
The government won't come out and say that right now as it will demororalise the sporting community.
Developing a vaccine is the only turning point if you read between the lines in the messaging by ALL governments around the globe.
