Some people are overly sensitive when it comes to this kind of thing. They also chuck a fit if you dare refer to it as ‘men’s cricket’. They need women to know that they are and will always be the B-side. Some egos just can’t handle it
Ego or reality FFS ?
Perfect.
All posters are equal, but some posters are more equal than others.

No one on here seemed to have an issue with it being called the Men’s Ashes now. Seamless transition.

Top End anyone?
"Meanwhile 7 News reports the Saints will travel to the top end and face Gold Coast in Darwin during the middle of the season."
AFL M Fixture released Thursday
Round 13 - Saturday 13/6/20 - Gold Coast vs St Kilda - 4:35pm AEST - TIO Stadium, Darwin
Given the Shanghai game is Round 11, you can guarantee our bye will be Round 12. Means no footy for us on the Queen's Birthday long weekend.
Are the AFL run by complete idiots?
Why the f*** would you not play it as a night game?
Extremely likely to be 30 degrees and sunny in June.
Sunset in Darwin on 13 June is 6.28pm!
Morons.
i am Melbourne Skies - sometimes Blue Skies, Grey Skies, even Partly Cloudy Skies.

Nobody's changing anything but it's really not that big of a deal. The op makes a distinction we all understand. There are now 2 related codes both built on the old vfl one for women one for men. Yes, the men's one is officially AFL but it's not an insult to specify the m.
AFL and AFLW are already a distinction we all understand.

Yes my thoughts too.
For me this works out well as I will not be in Oz then and so the more away games the better for me.
I had to book my flights in advance and so it is AFL-LOTTO for me to see how many Home Games I miss out on.

it is bs. it is the afl. i think the op is just having a joke, so all good.
if someone wants to pretend he is a member of the 'woke' brigade (most of us were never asleep) that's also fine, but to expect others to change our language around your own little world view to the extent of renaming whatever you feel like, then go to buggery. it's narcissistic and offensive in the fact that you are assuming others either hold your view or should hold your view.
narcisscism, immaturity, frustration and naivity pretty much define the modern sjw. people looking for a cause to give meaning to their lives.
Can anyone show me where on this post anyone has asked anyone to change their views?
Or asked to rename the AFL to AFLM?
I can’t see anyone here at all?
But let’s not have that get in the way that you all got triggered over nothing.
I’m just sitting back and laughing at all of your comments.
Were you the lot of people that cried foul when VB changed their label? Oh, the indecency.
quite right piddley. people commenting negatively on a slight change of name, especially when it makes more sense to oneself. good grief.

Who gives a f*** about VB really.
Well..I do
as a matter of fact.......
Well, I don't. All beer tastes like s*** to me.
My condolences
Why. I am happy with that. Even as a teenager, I thought the taste of beer sucked. Still do. VB included.
I am happier
Well, then I'm pleased for you. Better to be a happy drunk, than a violent one.
I'll have a VB for you. Cheers...enjoy your Soy Latte
Never had a soy latte in my life or anything containing soy for that matter.
Check the ingredients the next time you do the groceries. Nearly everything has soy in it.
